I'm skeered of this

Does anyone have any advice on Tahoe 5'ers? Experiences, good or bad? The wife & I found a 98 25 footer in outstanding shape for an excellant price (according to blue book). Just need some info. This will be our first 5'er.

Thanks

If memory serves me right there are two tahoe manufacturer's or else tahoe use to be made by someone else and then bought out, I cann't really remember.

EDIT:::The Tahoe we have is a Tahoe by Thor of California.

The Tahoe my wife and I own is a 2001 model, 30 feet, single super slide.

We have never ever had any problems with it. The camper is solid and it came with alot of extras that the others do not. The only thing we had to do was flip the axles to fit on the truck better. If I didn't camp in a campground that has a steep incline going out followed by a steep decline turning onto the highway (put your hands together like your praying and that is what the truck and camper looked like) I wouldn't have had to flip the axles.

Would I buy another Tahoe, yes the construction in ours is 12 inch on center side walls (verses 16-24 on others) and 10 inch on center floors (verses 12 on others), I feel this is a very well crafted camper.

I can not speak for other year Tahoes as I do not know anything about the other years but the Tahoe we bought was a great money to product value.

I have a 99 29RL Tahoe in stock. Have had it for 2 months rebuilding the FRONT and BACK caps from delamination and wood rot. I have had 2 Tahoes... ... ... ... . my first and last.
