tail lights

has anyone out there done anything with the dead area of our tail lights just under the backup lights? This is an area begging to be bombed.

I've thought there to be a ton of dead space in the bed area behind the panels. I'd love to have or have made some custom toolboxes to fit between the frame and body with doors to open through the body. Haven't seen that done since the old F series trucks back in the late 60's and early 70's.
