Tailgate decals

Hello...



several years ago **ICEMAN** made decals for our trucks, don't know if he's still around on this forum or not, but mine was a 12 valve decal he had made and i bought from him, well, the decal is showing age and scatches, so i wonder if anybody on this forum makes decals out of the ordinary for our trucks, if so would like to purchase... .

I have a buddy that has a vinyl cutter. If you have a design, I can pass it on to him and find out how much he would charge to make it.

The only one I know that *may* still have contact with ICE would be Hammer.

ICEMAN has been MIA for years now and none of us have seen or heard from him. He sold all of his trucks and runs a dump truck business now in Maryland. He is no longer a TDR member nor is he on any diesel forums at all anymore.



As for the tailgate graphics... .

The club is looking into to redoing them as there has been alot of interest in them lately. I will keep you informed on them... ..... Andy

I have a local shop near here who makes them in the original Mopar size like was on the side of a Dodge Super Bee and they are complete with the tail of the Bee reflective. They look like a NOS Bee except they have a Cummins on his back. I have two here that I bought a few years ago and never used them and if I remember correctly I paid $15/each for them. I will call the guy who got them for me and check the avialibility for you.

I do not like the vinyl that he uses as it does not have much durability which is the reason I would not consider him. You want the graphics to last and not come off in a short period of time... ... Andy

Andy, I've seen what you mean about quality of vinyl - it does need to be very durable as it is in the weather all the time.

Here's one I have on my back window. I had a local make it up for me from one I found on the internet. I gave him the picture and he did it up. It's been on for 3 or 4 years now and holding up great.
