Tailgate Latches

Not sure who I bought this from but it had an issue locking up. Turned out to be the two opposing parts couldn't "catch" as one was a little bit off on the alignment of the tip. Used a Dremel tool and burr to clean up the end removing very little material to get it to engage. Back on the truck without the rubber pads that they come with which caused further issues with engagement. The one on the latch on the other side was long gone so no great loss. Now I get to do the "rod" from latch to release handle. Ugh.

And, last but not least! Repaired the latching mechanism clips and have both side working like a charm. One video I watched from "Decent Garage" helped and the rest I figured out on my own. To be honest, it's pretty relaxing work. Tedious at times but not hard.
