Can you order the lite bar and how easy is it to install? Can you make it work as a 3rd brake lite also, or just as a running lite? TIA, Scott

When I ordered my '03 CTD it was/is a 3500 SRW... So i had the sales folks order what was needed for the tailgate "dually" lite, if i can get the pic's up, you'all will see... Also, it is used only as a stop lite... .

I also had one on my 01 2500. I just used it for the tail light part. No brake lights, I thought the one behind the cab and the regualar ones should be enough. If they can't see all of them I didn't think the one on the tailgate would help .

actually the one on the tailgate is quite useful when you have stuff in the bed and it is taller than the cab... .

You will need to cut several holes in the tailgate because the lamps extend inside, and there are indexing nubs on the housing. The lamp holes are somewhere around an inch in diameter. one lead is ground, the other can be spliced into the license plate light circuit (or supposedly the stop light circuit if that is what you want).
