There's Pop & Lock - kind of cheap and inconvenient - have to pull handle off each time you use it. There's also an electric one - works with power locks. See the link below. There may be more, but these are ones I found when I was looking a year ago. My fiberglass tonneau cover secures mine, so I didn't get one.
If it looks like this just searth the web for ram tailgate locks.
If it looks like this just search the web for ram tailgate locks. This one is made by Bully. I do not know who has a better price but this one is for $21. 95. There are other ones that you can wire into your door locks for auto locking capabilities if you prefer.
There are two kinds of Pop Locks, the one with the cover which would be a pain, I have the one with a key lock in the handle. Had it for over a year and works fine.
Put Bully on both '99 and '01. Good quality and very easy to install. Phone call to Bully brought 2 extra keys at no charge. Replaced Pop-N-Lock with them. Had to remove lock bezel every time I wanted to install lock.
I have the pop-lock (sp?) auto tailgate lock, and it is a piece of junk! Very cheesy... They use double sided sticky tape to stick it to the inside of your tailgate. I could live with that, but the real problem is that the solenoid isn't strong enough to reliably disengage the locl. For all I know it may not be reliably engaging either. The first time you have to unload your truck over the tailgate will change your mind about this product. Great idea, poor execution.
