I just figured out what this BHAF is and I placed my order right after. I haven't heard any planes yet, but I fear the bombs are on the way. I am aiming for MPG and if some HP tags along for the ride:) :)so be it. It looks like the way to go, (gauges are already on the way, EGT, AT TEMP, BOOST) in order, is: 91-93% DTT TC, EZ, DDII's, and maybe an exhaust though it seems that those only yield a cooler sound, which is fine. . I also don't tow or haul anything as of now and probably won't for a while. Also, I love the fact there is no smoke as is and would love to keep it as close to that as possible. Sorry so long winded, I'll settle down after a while. :D :D

With those mods being planned.......

The 4" exhaust will help lower the EGT's. Remember that you have the little turbo and heat can build quickly.

ahhh... there are times when a little (lot?) of smoke would be fun... . like at a stoplight beside a ricer thumpmobile:D :D

The only change I'd suggest is to install those gauges, especially EGT and boost before the EZ and DDII's. You will definitely want to know what your EGT's are doing. Have fun!!

I too was just attacked by the BOMB Bug. I started with the aFe airfilter and EZ, yesterday I got all my gauges delivered by UPS - Auto Meter Ultra Lites, EGT, transmission Temp, and 60 lb Boost with A-Pillar Mount. I will be installing the gauges on 12-1-01 because by then I will have received my new Mag-Hytec double deep transmission pan and rear diff cover. Next will be a VB, 89% TC with an upgrade kit and DTT Stage 2's. Working on a new sound system for inside the cab too!!!!

redneckdr, I couldn't agree more. Those things are everywhere out here and they are just the right hieght! Great Idea!:D :D :D

Bigwhitebeast, What differences did you notice with the dd2's. HP/MPG/smoke?

JGort, if I may ask, what made you go with the DTT 2's over DD's or BD's or any others?

Like I said, I'm not after hp, just looking to improve on an already great engine. Any suggestions to this will be much appreciated... . I know thats asking for it:)

Thanks,

Big Buck

What smoke......

The little HY spools pretty quick so smoke isn't bad unless I jam it off the line. Being a work truck I drive it fairly sensibly. :D :D

I set up my EZ with a switch since I put the DD2's in. On level one still has plenty of power and hardly any smoke. On level three I can get it to smoke a good amount, if I try.

Remember I'm at sea level and cooler climate. If your higher up or somewhere it gets really hot and humid your smoke will be worse.

abuckley,

Actually I meant DD2's. I am getting them at the same time as the VB & TC from DTT, but I believe they are the DD2's.
