Bin Laden...Man or mouse

Listen to the whisper... or wait for the brick!

Hi all,

Well, it finally came down. I've been tasked with a 179 day deployment in

support of Operation Enduring Freedom. I will post if I am able to from my new location, but I'm not expecting that any time soon.

I will probably be around for a couple of more days to say goodbye.

Later,

Best wishes to you and the ones left worried about you.

Words to live by if you ever find yourself in a kill/be killed situation.

Dont aim high, aim for the head! Again, best of wishes to you and your family!

Deployed to the great sand pile

Joe left on October 2nd for the great sand pile of the Mid-east. I recieved word yesterday that he and his unit arrived safe and in one piece. I haven't been told where they are exactly, but they are far away from the main threat area.

Keep praying that they all come home safe and soon to us all.

Bless you all!!

Thank you...

Crash's addy

You bet, Doc!!

As soon as I receive it from the military, I'll pass it on to everyone who knows him. I don't think his keyboard will survive that task...

Everyone keep Joe in your prayers. There are no safe places over there...

If I were in the military, I'd prefer to be in Afghanistan. I'd want a crack at those SOB's. But, no matter how you serve and where you are... You are pretty much indispensable. Don't do your job, and someone or a lotta someones may die. (hey, CIA, you listening??? And you too, Billy Bob Clinton?)

You are heroes all.

Mrs. Hinson,

Thanks for your post. I, like Dave Vieira, got a tear in my eye when I read it. If possible, it would be great if you could post the snailmail address for Joe and his unit so when can send things.

Also, if you need anything, please do not hesitate to ask! I am sure my fellow TDR members will do what they can and I will personally do what I can too. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Joe and all the men and women who are defending this great country of ours!

God Bless America!

Paul

Prayer??

Ummm, Can y'all on the TDR say a prayer for all of the U. S. troops who are over in the great sand pile? They've started bombing Afganistan today... unfortunately bin Laden and some Taliban officials have escaped round one. Let's hope that they are wiped off the face of the planet REAL soon and are a forgotten relic of a time that needs to be buried for all eternity.
