Big Honkin' New Years Eve Party at Sambo's

St. Louis Dyno Day ?!?!

Through my church, I found an organization that is taking donations that will go DIRECTLY to the tsunami victims. This was a concern of mine, and I am glad to have found a good place to donate. My church knows this organization and has researched them thoroughly. Here is the info:

Help International

1833 E. Harmony, Ft. Collins

A shipment is planned to leave within the next 2 weeks, so the relief will be immediate. Here is what they are accepting:

* Money

* Tarps

* Light weight blankets

* Tents

* Packaged, freeze dried foods. No cans. Examples are powdered milk, dry soups, potatoes, oatmeal. Packages must be factory sealed.

* Medical supplies; bandaids, gauze, anti-bacterial ointments, medical tape, medical latex gloves, light weight splints, basic over the counter medical supplies. No medicine.

* Water fliters/purifiers, camping type, gravity drained.

*Hygiene; small individual shampoos, wash clothes, toothbrushes, toothpast (small tubes), soap.

If anyone would like to donate anything to this effort, but cannot make it to Ft. Collins, you can drop things by my house as well. I will be taking a load up to Ft. Collins in the next week or so. My church is also taking the donations there, and I plan on helping them transport stuff up there too.
