taking off the ez

If the edge product ez is taken off but the boost elbow is left on will boost of some type of error code show up. . ?

YES. If the boost elbow is left on then boost will increase past the dodge ECM's limit of 21 PSI and it will make a check engine light appear and your truck will not get as much fuel. It is not a good idea to do this.

FYI- leave the two map connections hooked up and unplug the triangle connector in front, this will keep the error code and defueling from happening.
