If I just unplug my TST Power Max 3 from the wiring harness, but leave the wires that are spliced into the injection pump and power leads hooked up, can I drive the truck. The little engine light came on, and I don't know if this is because of an open circuit or the boost elbow or if something will go wrong. If anyone has an idea let me know please.

Oh and if you are wondering why I took it off, its because I am sending it back to TST to have them reprogram it for adding fuel at lower boost levels.

I really need my truck and can not let it sit until it comes back.

Thanks guys

You need to also disconnect the part of the harness that connects to the MAP sensor. It's the plugs that are below the fuel filter - remove the TST harness out of it and put the original plug into the MAP sensor. You'll also need to put your original boost elbow in the turbo - or not use much throttle otherwise you'll set an overboost code and your truck will be defueling all the time because of the boost going over 18.

BIG THANKS

Thanks for the response Steve. I luckly kept my old boost elbow when I installed it.

I don't care what anyone says, you guys are all right on here:D
