Talked to EDGE today about Juice

As the title says... . And I didn't like the answers I heard.



I guess they had some problems with other production models throwing codes and put the new boxes on hold for 5-6 months.



They want to fix the old production boxes that are producing codes first.



Then they will go back to the beta and maybe, hopefully, finally, produce the juice box for the 03-04. 5s

I feel bad for these guys. If you think of the effort that has gone into this project. Not to mention the $$$.

Timing, Duration, Fueling all in one???

All adjustable too.

I heard about bully-dog but it is hardly ever mentioned here. Is it bad?

There are timing and duration boxes but I don't see one that does ALL 3.

As far as the boxes go I'm gonna keep on putting around with the EZ on level 4.

Anywho... Edge said depending on when an EZ was purchased... The may give back the money toward the purchase of the Juice.

Beta testing

Nick, I've talked to 2 people who've run the Juice. One did pretty well except it would make the engine cut out for a moment on a regular basis. Another person said it would throw a lot of codes and sometimes make the engine run rough and also make it stall. He said it "needs a lot of work. " That's all I know.



The Bullydog box I have which is no longer in production has worked fine for me. I decided to plug it back in for awhile and all is good. It does pressure & timing.

Wow:--) those are really big problems, i dont understand why'd they ever say they were a month away from releasing it and put a bunch of ads in magazines if that was happening i can picture alot of this :-{} :-{} :-{} going on at edge right now

Last time I talked to Edge, maybe about a week or so ago, I asked how things were going for the 3rd gens, and they said that they had a "major board failure" and that I "shouldn't hold my breath".

Well I guess I am still at a loss now.



I met a guy on the road with a bully dog complete system. He said it was a 134hp model that was special request. Called BG and they claim to never had made that box.



Wanted to find a setup with all 3 adjustable options for timing, duration, fueling.



If I have to stack... I will stack.



I read about a TST and Edge box combo being deadly.



I really just want something good for towing and able to pump it hard at the track a couple times a year.



So give me a couple of suggestions...



My future mods will be 4" down pipe and dual SS exhaust with the 4" system.



Being kinda new to these trucks (my first diesel)... . Still working on the differences of some things...



Boost elbow VS 4" Down Pipe??

Which box to get? Or boxes?

Which exhaust to avoid the drone?



But hey... I would be in for the TST group buy.
