I am the Texas coordinator for DHRA, which promotes diesel drag racing and diesel truck sled pulling for those interested in DIESEL POWER, and we are looking for any wanting to be a member in Texas. I am here to let ya'll know that Texas will be cut off :{ from the association if something doesn't start to happen? Lubbock Dragway is the ONLY DHRA membership track in Texas, where you can race for a DHRA percentage if your a member. DHRA offers a DHRA ID card, a pair of DHRA decals, a DHRA Member decal, a DHRA rule book, a subscription to Diesel Power magazine, discounts on tickets to DHRA National Events and on DHRA merchandise at DHRA National Events, and also a discount @ Choice hotels all around the united states. :-laf Check out the website @ www.dhraonline.com or message me for joining information, racing details, and any and all questions you have. What are they, retarded? Do they not know how big Texas is and realize that Lubbock is like a 12 hour drive for some people?

My boyfriend and I drive 7 hours to get there..... it sucks i am trying to get more people involved and more race tracks to take us in!?

I think if they had a track organised at Dallas, Houston or Austin areas they would have a bigger following here in TX ... Lubbock is just toooo darn far for most people. ... unless you live there or Amarillo.

see and that would definately be a good idea because DHRA already has the Texas Nationals @ houston raceway park i don't understand why the aren't a membership track!? gotta look into that... . i have been calling around to the bigger tracks and getting the low down about there feelings on the sport and what not!
