It's normal... to get it off, you have to get a T15 Torx bit, and hammer away in the middle of that hole, as to make a place where, when you get it punched in far enough, you can just turn and unscrew... . I would advise putting normal hex head screws in once that breakoff screw is out... if you ever want to move the plate, its a walk in the park... Just something to think about. . if you have anymore questions. If you put the new breakoff screw on, and torque it too far, it will break off again, and you will have the same headache when trying to remove it again... PM me if you have anymore questions...
