Competition Maybe a little too much nitrous????

Competition some newby questions to sled pulling ........

Tonight pull the pull in Tampico, Indiana was amazing.

Once again there was about 8000 people watching and drinking with the show.

The ATPA Prostreet boys pulled and put on a great show.

I forget who won exactly but I think it was Tomac. Craig Severson did a great job as usual! Along with George Peterson, Todd Cox, Curt Haisley.

Fortunately for me there was a "Street Stock Diesel" class that followed the big boys.

I was last to sign up and last to pull.

There was a Duramax that pulled really well, I think around 290'.

Then the Famous local Powerstroke puller Ben Miller. One of the first hooks of the night he pulled it out the gate!! I thought oh boy, I dont have a chance!

Well, I come up last get a good hook even though I am very nervous being basically a home town pull with umpteen amount of people there that know me.

I pull it out the gate too!!

So they put both of us right into the pull off.

Powerstroker is up first, He knocks off at 190'+.

I am even more nervous as I am in contention of actually winning.

I come off the line and the rpm take a little dive into the 2600 area. I give some more fuel and let'er EAT!!

I pulled over to the left (untouched part), then I pull back over to the right so I can pull it passed the stopper mound and down the hill!!

300'+ AGAIN!

OH WHAT A FEELING!!

:D

heard it was a good time for all there ...

me and the 7 guys with me all wished we had just skipped IRP and went to Tampico ...

congrats on the win

You wouldnt have had to skip IRP we left right after the last pull on sat and made it to Tampico in plenty of time. There was more clutch smoke than diesel smoke in the street diesel class it was a great pull.

Congrats Justin

When are you going to move up to the next class?? :-laf

That is the first time I had ever been there and it is everything that I had heard before hand. It was a lot of fun with the big crowd, good track and I am sure they enjoyed the pull I know I did.

Craig

We went to a little pull in hazelwood instead, would of been a big kids showing up and taking all the local kids money but the sled ended up breaking before that happend
