Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Tappet gasket replacement

Can i get some tips on replacing the tappet gasket on my 12 valve? I tried to get at the bolts, but the injection pump is in the way. It has to be removed. Any other info. would help.

Remove the fuel pump and install the rubber gasket DRY if you use anything on the seal IT WILL LEAK
