turbo drive pressure reaction?

Turbo information wanted

I am going to tap my pump wire and i cant find the directions to see what size wire it is,could somebody tell my what size or color posi-tap to get? and it is the wire closest to the motor right? thanks

If you are going to tap your wire for an edge or some such other, be careful. Harry Piers told me last summer when he was up here that, that is the fastest way to burn up, destroy, short or just plain make the V44 not work like it's suppose to. As I have a 97 it isn't a real concern for me, but I would hate for someone to trash their pump. Double check my facts first. But that is what I was told by Harry. Hope this helps.

thanks for the info PC12driver, i looked on there website 2 different times and did not see the part where it says about the pump wire. ya thats why i waited 4 years to do it, but i figured it lasted 2 years with 0 psi fp in the winter and still going im not real concerned about it as it is probly about ready to die. now i need a clutch.

The pump wire is the one closest to the block if I remember correctly.

A soldered joint is many time superior to any tap.

I run a pump cover just because it's clean and has provided me with very reliable service. Some have had issues with pump covers though.

Whatever way you do it, Make sure that you seal any bare connection to prevent corrosion from making your work into trash.
