I have above firearm and really like it. HOWEVER, it will light strike on the fourth or fifth round and will not fire even with double strike. All the first four or five rounds show a nice deep indent on the primer. I wonder if any one else has this problem. I have CLEANED it, streched the spring, cut a coil off of the fireing pin return spring, used grinding compound in the fireing pin raceway, cleaned out the hole in the slide that the fireing pin goes throug, I have over lubed it, under lubed it. . And every time after cleaning the first 4 or 5 fire and then light strike. . Any Ideas?

I know I can send it to taurus and they will fix it "free" minus shipping and FFL fees in Calif. and that is why I don't send it. . Thanx for reading Charlie

call the factory i have with colt and they helpedf me so i did not have to send it in.

I had one and replaced it with a Glock 36. I liked the small size of the 145, but I had problems with jamming (although it seemed to get better with time, the last box is shot, it did find) and the small gap between the clip and grip would pinch my little finger on recoil. I am more used to a Glock/Springfield XD type trigger and the pull of the trigger was a little long and firm. I like everything to be the same for self defense.

Thanks for the suggestions, I thought about powder fouling but only after 5 or 6 shots, dosent seem right. Thanks for the thoughts. I will try calling the mfg monday. . Thanks , Charlie
