Did I read, or am I just imagining this.

I have done lots of searches but can't seem to find some thing that I had, or at least thought I had, read once before.

So here's my question.

Does some one make a VB that allows the trans fluid to be pumped through the cooler while the transmission is in park? If so who?

I know that I have read this is one of the reasons why it is not a good idea to allow your vehicle to sit and idle for long periods at a time, but I also thought I remebered reading about a VB that corrects this.

yes, most aftermarket VB kits charge the cooler in park. This is good when you first start the truck and you need to fill a partially drained converter.

So the OEM VB doesn't?

I think Dodge changed that a few years ago.

No the oem does not flow fluid in park; only in neutral. Aftermarket vb's on the 47's will allow flow in park.
