Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) TC lock up smart boxes???

I am wanting to install a torque converter lock/unlock control smart box. I know you can do this with a simple switch but I think I want something a little more idiot proof so MY WIFE doesn't lug the guts out of the poor critter! So far I have found them by DTT ATS and BD. I don't tow or haul heavy, I just don't like the way it will lug hard uphill and freewheel on the other side. Also I want the ability to unlock the converter for a half gear step down with out having to mash the throttle thru the floor to get it to kick down. Can any body bring me some smarts or opinions on pro / con -- good / bad?

I love my DTT smart controler. I used to have a mystery switch before. I run the smart controler all the time. Shifts nicer and save on brakes.
