Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) TC locks and unlocks around 40-50 mph

I've got a 98' 12 valve auto. The tc will lock and unlock over and over at 40-50 mph. Is there an easy fix for this?

Yeah, find your TPS sensor and try blasting it with electro wash. Usually noisy electrical signal causes TC to freak.

What Vaughn said, but try a search and use TPS as the criteria and be prepared for a long read. Many suggested cures, up to and including removing the three wires that go to the TPS from the loom they reside in. Very common problem that has been researched by many, so somewhere along the way you should find a fix. Very few of us have tried it all and still have to deal with the nuisance. Good luck.
