Since I have upped my Hp/Torque, I have enjoyed locking out OD and driving in 3rd lockup. Is this what it is like most of the time with a better Torque Conv. ? Sorry for the silly Question but I think the answer will make me even more impatient for the stoke transmission to go ( its now at 140000)

If you are starting out from a stop with the TCC locked it won't lock until it shifts to 2nd. Then it will lock and the shift to 3rd will be with the TCC locked. That's a good way to tear it up. Especially if you are on it pretty good.
 
What I meant was. From a start I run up through normally with OD locked out. When it gets to 3rd and the TCC locks the truck is at its must fun part of the ride. The question is with a better TC (lower stall) is it like this more of the time , pulling like it does in 3rd lockup .
 
If I'm driving in street traffic I lock out the OD. Otherwise I just let it run up thru the gears. With the TC I have (DTT 89%) it hauls butt all the way.
