TCI Converter

Anyone run a TCI Torque converter? I've had several in hot rods and they work great. Do they have the diesel converters down?

I stopped at their booth at a show but the only guy who was supposed to know anything about them was on a beer break

A friend tried one on an '05. The stall speed is lower than idle on the common rail motor. When he pulled it in gear the truck lurched and the turbo started to spool cuz there was a load on the engine. Not the worlds coolest converter.

You would think that a company of this size and experience would do this converter right, but it sure doesn't look like it.

I had a terrible time with thier customer service when I bought thier converter for my 95.

The clutch in it still slipped with only a 5 plate.

I never will recommend them, there are better choices.
