2016 3500 Aisin poor throttle response

2017 6.7L AISIN CC Auto leveling SRW 7,500 miles.

Occasionally while driving (6 times in 7500 miles), the "service electronic braking system light" and the "traction control system light" will simultaneously and instantaneously flash on (with the alarm bell ringing 1 time), then both immediately disappear from the display. This randomly occurs from 4 to 15 times over several miles. There's no associate driving abnormality and no codes/CEL. There MIGHT be an association between engaging full exhaust brake while in Tow/haul mode but it may have happen without engaging those systems. Any ideas of where to start looking (loose cable connection etc.)

its under WARRANTY. take it back and get it on record.

FWIW mine will very intermittently flash the "4WD shift in progress " message.

See above.
Mine did the same sort of thing, turn out it was both batteries were failing. caused all sorts of lights to flash with no real pattern.

6VT92TA and NWatchel sincere thank for your replies. Had the vehicle at the dealer last month for the water pump recall. They checked out the charging system and found no problem. The dealer tried to address the problem but since it is a random issue that rarely occurs they were at a loss. That's why I am posting here, hoping maybe someone might have some insight but it seems none of the experts on this site know where to start and are at a loss also.

Did your dealer do an actual load test on the batteries? My truck was fine for the most part save for the occasional random warning light. It wasn't until we did a load test on the batteries that we found one was not taking a charge or holding it for very long. The alternator was working fine and the other battery was fine as well. Any place that sells batteries has a load tester and generally will test for free. Just disconnect them completely and they can stay in the truck. Takes all of 10 minutes to test.
You may also have something like a bad ABS sensor or maybe a wire rubbed through somewhere? Do you have any aftermarket electrical device added in your truck? I have seen bad wiring installs where some hack has used the scotch lock wire destroyers to tap into the harness and cause all sorts of gremlins.

Thanks again NWatchel. Dealer claims he did a full electrical systems test including load test of batteries and it showed no problems. The vehicle is all stock with no aftermarket electrical equipment. My inclination is that it may be a loose connection but again in 7500miles of driving there were at most only 6 episodes. The last episode had about 15 messages appear (hey flashed on/off so fast it is difficult to even read) over a 3 mile stretch with 4 of those flashes occurring while waiting at a light. I thought that having both the warning message of SERVICE ELECTRONIC BRAKING SYSTEM and also having the traction control light flash at the same time might narrow done where to look but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I have had the same thing on my 2017 Power Wagon, so it may not be related to the diesel engine setup. Had the traction control message occur when I was heading out of town with roughly 8800 miles on it. I had stopped, firmly seated all the fuses (they all clicked down--had read about this on another forum) and it went away within a mile of driving. No further issues until this past weekend when the service electronic brake system appeared. This was gone within half a mile. I took it to the dealership and they just called, telling me they have not been able to find anything, but were continuing to look. I suspect I will be picking it up later without any diagnosis. Intermittent electrical issues can be tough to diagnose and today's vehicles have an awful lot of electronics and computer module controlled items.

Only 2 options left. One is to try and find a set of bumps like railroad tracks and see if you can get it to happen consistently, then you can take a video and go to the dealer. Second is to return to the dealer and have them look again.

Did the SEBS message come on and stay on for 1/2 mile or did it flash on, then off, so fast that the message was very difficult to read as mine did. Over a 1/2 mile track it might flash 2-3 times. The TCM msg mimics the SEBS. I might drive 800 miles before it happens again or it might happen after 10 miles. I'll check the fuses. Thanks

Is yours a manual shift transfer case? If so, mine was flashing the same message a lot, took it to the dealer and apparently it's a known issue. They replaced the selector sensor in the transfer case.
