Has the TDR ever considered a Challenge Coin.
For those in the military they are a great source of pride.
I really think the idea could work well at dyno-events, club meetings, rallys, Hooters nights, or just impressing lowly Ford drivers on the organizational skills of the TDR and Dodge/Cummins owners in general.
My coin sugggestion
Circular or shaped like a turbo side profile
side 1 TDR logo
Side 2 (My idea) Montage of 6BT engine and grills from 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen DCTDs
Material: Silver plate (probably not real silver, costs 2 much)
Special features:
-Rolled Brass outer edge with inscription: "In Cummins we trust"
-Clear enamel over 1 or both sides (makes the coin smooth)
-Coin number Use TDR membership records to assign coin numbers for the first X, XX, XXX, XXXX TDR members or just number them all and record coins sales by post mark, email date or something similar.
(coin numbers determine who buys the round during a challenge highest number or member without a coin buys)
With 16,000 members you could order in numbers large enough to really get a great deal, should get the individual price down below $2-3 even with many features added.
There are a number of companies who do this and currently I am in one of the known locations for their manufacture (KOREA).
Let me know what you think, we can talk this up anytime.
For a glimpse of what a nice coin and deluxe minting looks like go here (these are USA made KICK ASS COINS! Not foreign made, so they cost a few dollars more)
