PM stuck

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm getting pretty frustrated with our TDR computer system. Seems like the problem grows worse at the same time we're told it will get better. Not sure when my subscription expires, but if it doesn't get any better, I'm bailing. I know I'd miss it, but I can do without the frustration.

Mike,

I don't think anyone is more frustrated than the TDR folks. I believe they had a failure of one of their new servers. Can't really blame them for that. I know they're doing their best and working on it. Try to hang in there while they work the bugs out.

Hey, Give 'em a chance to get everything dialed in. Whenever you replace hardware there is a burn in time period. Most hardware failures happen soon after initial use, if they make it past the first couple of months you generally have smooth sailling for a long time.

So as they say on the radio; Sit back, relax and Enjoy:D this site has some very good support and will soon be back to normal.

I E-mailed them yesterday asking when the forms would be back up, they E-mailed me back and said they had a big power failure and didn't have and ETA on it. I guess I'm a TDR junkie and am just getting selfish, keep up the work TDR while you cussin the computors.

TDR Servers

BigMike, we understand your frustration. We are working hard to get everything stablized. We have experienced more problems than we anticipated. But so far, we've been able to address everything. We fully expect, however, to find bugs over the next few weeks. When you experience any problem, please e-mail me directly at rpatton@ix.netcom.com. We will work hard to address any and all issues.

The good news? We're getting very close. The problem Saturday, and it was a big one, wasn't caused by either our new hardware or our software updates. Murphy's Law struck again. The Co-location facility was installing electrical upgrades. They lost all power to their facility.

We truly do appreciate everyone's patience with this conversion. And with any luck, we have the worst of the problems behind us. Again, feel free to e-mail me with any problems you experience.

Colo Information

Jack, I just sent you a private message with details. But, I was troubleshooting a user's account at the time, so it didn't come from me. It may be confusing, but I signed the PM. Sorry for the confusion.
