I'll be heading north

If anyone wants to convoy to the TDR Nationals from New Orleans area or Mississippi or Bama, let me know. I'll be on I-59/I-65 heading north on Tuesday before "The Event". My better half says she will need tranquilizers for a trip this long. (I try to stay below 65 Any suggestions?

Any one from Southern Cal. Going to the nationals? I will be leaving August 7th or 8th or sooner. Going up US. 40 planning to stop in Amarillo and Nashville and any other place that look’s interesting.

I am pulling a 26ft. trailer. So if you pass me on the way honk.

Just did my reservation for the campground, The lady there said there were 138 reservations so far so it looks like it will be a good turnout. Anybody know what the weather will be sorta like in August there? Humid? hot? Rain?

I have a large tent I am using.

This is like a May Madness but with money!! there will be a cookout, a poker run, tour of cummins plant, show and shine, driving competitions. Just a real good time. oh and all the Gottahavits you can afford



Look at the listings of what is in the campground, you can make a vacation just there alone!! lots of stuff to do!!

I like to do this, plus I am an interstate treuck driver so I am used to doing long distance. 10 hours? EASY!! no sweat!

I tried to start a thread on convoying from California but I guess no one else is going from CA, so does anyone want to hook up along the way? I will be leaving Ca on hwy 80 early on the 10th of August.
