Schied Diesel Extravaganza Diesel Drags!

Saturday August 17th, Brown County Dragway Bean Blossom, IN

Just a reminder about this race, we are going to have 2 classes, automatic transmission equipped trucks and manuals. Information/directions will be available at the campgrounds. It is free to race or just watch, and there will be trophies available for the winners.

There will be instruction on bracket racing, so if you want to learn, this will be a great opportunity for you. See everyone this weekend. BTW, keep our West Coast brothers in your prayers as they traverse this great country's highways.

Great racing event this weekend,

I learned how to bracket race, I advanced to the 2nd or 3rd round (I think), then I ran a red.

I ran a 76. 5 MPH in the 1/8'th (which I think is not bad) 9. 8 ET.

Aaron (aotte) ran a 8. 9 ET in the 1/8th (the events fastest time)

And bye the way I handed the Powerstroke guy his walking papers by beating him by over a second in the 1/8th.

Jim,

Eric did not plan on racing, and when it started raining he headed for home.

It stopped raining after about 50 minutes then it warmed up, and racing resumed!

Well, I pulled off a second place in the manual class on the first run through. there was time, and we ran the whole race twice. i ran the winner in my first round in the second run through and he ended up wining the whole thing twice.
