TDR needs a picture program of it's own.

There has got to be a better way to post pics on this site. I have tried irfanview to resize and my pics come out so small by the time the TDR accepts them they are worthless. My camera is a Cannon Powershot s45 and from memory it is about 4pixels. I would like to know why some get good sized pics and others do not.



Steve this needs to be made simple for some of us. An in-house program would be a good start.

You just need to change the quality/compression setting when you save the pics. Any photo/paint program will do it. I explain it in the Website/Roundtable FAQ - https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96955 . When you save a JPG file there will be a setting on there called either quality or compression - set it to 5 if it's a 1-10 scale - 50% if it's 1-100. You will lose no noticeable quality and the file size will be MUCH MUCH smaller. You can easily do 1024x768 images within 112k. Pretty much everyone has a program on their PC which will allow them to resize pics to get within the size limitations.
