Today we’re highlighting two book reviews of Faster, Higher, Farther, the inside story of the 2015 Volkswagen diesel scandal. Written by Jack Ewing, an automotive journalist from the New York Times, Mr. Ewing covered the story for the newspaper. His book covers the history of VW and includes first-hand reporting of the court cases and even contributions from key VW executives directly involved in the scandal.

The editor’s two reviews weave together the larger implications of VW’s actions with the diesel industry as a whole – as well as how it has affected you, and me - as owners of diesel-powered cars and trucks. Reading the insights, we think you’ll see why the book is worthy of these two discussions.
