Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Tech Help

Can anybody help me out with how many job hours it takes to replace Crankshaft Sensor Ring ( tone ring ). Any help appreciated.

You have to drop the oil pan I believe. Not an easy proposition. TDR member wtfd6 has changed his. Why don't you send him a PM.

NPS Thanks for reply. Just got my truck back, had tone ring replaced by neighborhood garage. It took him 5 hours. He charged me at 7. 5 hrs. at $45 an hour. Hourly rate out of some labor book. I feel I got away cheap. I am going to post another thread titled Bad Experience about dealing with Cummins.
