I have stumbled upon a little extra income around here and I need a little advice. I have had quite a few people aproach me about doing a little diesel maintenance here. It seems that most of the shops don't do much diesel work and definately won't help with upgrades. What do yall think? Would you charge someone a liittle money to run their valves and basically service their Cummins? The few shops that do it charge an enormous amount and are slow. Which is the best all around manual that would cover valve adjustment and timing etc... I would not do anything I haven't done before but I would like to learn more. For example I can run the valves on a small block chev. in my sleep but would have to do it once or twice with a manual at my disposal for a cummins. Have I lost my mind or what? I have turned up a few 1st and 2nd gen's for a little cash here in the last couple years. I wouldn't charge tthem if they were wanting to learn. They just want it to run better. Thanks! Jeremy
