Bad vibe

4th gen rims on a 3rd gen 2500

06 auto the tach is pegged all the way to the right, if I rev to a high rpm the needle will move to the left. anyone have a fix for this, thanks for your time. JAWS

lots of threads on this subject if you search, ive had great luck removing the cluster and loosening the screws around the tach half a turn. I guess they soldered them all flat and then when they are screwed down it bends the circuit board just enough to cause bad connections or break the solder joints over time, loosening the screws allows the board to relax and make contact again, sounds off but ive seen it work on atleast 5 trucks
