TECH SESSION & BBQ @ TED JANNETTYS'

Ted and I came up with a new date for this event. Ted will kindly open up his shop on August 12 and host a tech session and BBQ. This event will be open to all TDR members. Whether you live in Maryland or Vermont you are welcome to attend. All that we ask is that you pre-register by e-mailing me by August 1, @ Griff996@aol.com. This way Ted can make sure that there is enough for everyone to eat. Ted did mention that if we had enough interest that this would be a catered event. So please be considerate and contact me as soon as you plan to attend.
As with my experience over the years with the Porsche Club of America I have attend many tech sessions at many diff. dealerships, race shops and service facilities. It is well worth your time. Many of us who only know each other online will get to meet. You will make many new friends who all share the same passion,our trucks. So please try to make the time to attend. You won't be sorry.

I am not sure what the itinerary is going to be yet. Or the time for that matter. I do know that I am getting alot of e-mails. Were over 20 now. I hope Ted has a big parking lot. I have had a few guys request to have some things done but I have to talk to Ted about it. Its his show. So well see.

Got some more news. First things first. Ted would like to do a injector install on this day. He needs a 24 Valver who has already done a K&N and 4 inch exhaust. The 24 valver would have to purchase the injectors from Ted, of course, and then get the free install. Any takers please e-mail me or contact Ted directly.
The date is Saturday August 12 @ 10:00. The tech sessions will touch on Gauge installations, Transmission upgrades, exhaust brakes, and a question and answer portion. Ted will also have Power Modules for testing.

So please let us know if you plan on attending. We have about 30 people so far.

I would just like to thank everyone who RSVP'D. We have upwards of 40 people attending. It should be a real good time. Thanks again. Your cooperation is key. I would also like to thank Tom Petrick from MD. He will be driving up from MD for this event and then driving right back to the track that sat. night for his truck pull. Now thats what I call comitment. Thanks TOM. I don't know if the pregnant wife and son can handle a 20 hour day for us to do both, but i will talk to them about it.
