For all you Libertarians and Southerners

I moved out in the sticks this last year, and apparently none of these lowlifes has my new number yet. I'll enjoy the peace while it lasts. Then I'll go back to telling 'em 'sorry, he died'. It's easy to tell when they can't pronounce your name or they ask for the missus(there isn't one).

... I always liked the Sinfield epsiode where Jerry asks the long distance salesmen if he can have his home phone number, when the guy asks why, Jerry says "so I can call you at home and tell you no".

I remember the same episode but the way I remember it was Jerry ask the guy for his home phone number so he can call him later... The guy says something like "I don't wany you calling me at home" and Jerry says "now you know how I feel" and hangs up. :D :D :D

years ago, i tried listening to the spiel, invariably for something to buy, or a credit card, then responding that i sure was glad that they had called. "i have just declared bankruptcy, and i sure could use your stuff... ... etc" it's amazing how quickly they can hang up!! :D

Texas just got a No Call List as of January 1st. If they call you they can be fined $1000. 00. I usually just use call ID. If it's an unavaiable, I don't answer.
