Tell me about my turbo...07 5.9

Tell me what you know about my turbo.



What size is my Compressor and Exh housing?



I can see it's a Holset with an electric wastegate... but i can't get my head in the right position to see the ID tag.



Looks like an HX35 compressor but the Exhaust housing looks a bit smaller than the HX35's I've checked out.



I'll eventually tear into all this stuff to check it out but TDR wisdom could satisfy my curiosity in the mean time.

similiar to an hx 35 but with a 25 CM ex housing and its variable vein, liquid cooled

07 5. 9 still comes with a HE351CW. It has a 9cm turbine housing and 62mm compressor wheel and a 12cm compressor housing.

The wastegate has a computer controlled solenoid valve that manipulates the charge air that powers the manual wastegate diaphram.

thanks..... a 62mm compressor?? the "upgrade" turbo I was looking at is a 57mm and a 12cm exhaust..... interesting. wonder why they'd claim more power potential from a smaller turbo?
