Ok here is what I have going on........2000- 2500 auto with 410s
when I first start my truck and take off it acts like its hardly getting fuel and will rev normally. sometimes it takes off fine but then does this shut down and again acts like it hardly getting any fuel. I have a fuel pressure gauge and pressure is fine. after the truck warms up a bit it will pick up and run fine the rest of the day. It has a recently replaced VP-44 and lift pump. new fuel filter etc. It dosent always do it but is getting more frequent..
throttle position sensor?

sound like anything familiar?

Write down any codes you have and we'll go from there.

When you say your lift pump pressure is fine, what pressure are you seeing?

With the truck off, cycle the key on-off-on-off-on and any codes stored will show up in the odometer window. If you don't have a CEL on it may not work.
If you have access to a good scanner I would recommend that over the key trick but the key trick may offer some quick insight as to what is going on.

Your 8-9 lbs is that at idle? It is low at best. the vp44 likes at least 10 min. I run 20 at idle 16 at highway speed and 14 at wide open pulling a hill with heavy trailer.
