Temp/mpg computer

Is there anyway to adjust or calibrate the temperature/mileage computer in these rigs? The computer on my '99 was pretty darn close but this new one is off... . I'm off by 2 degrees on the temp, and I'm off by almost exactally 2 miles per gallon, both of these are to the positive. These are only minor discrepancies, but with a truck built this well that's about all we have to bit... about!

I've wondered the same thing. My temp is off by 5 degrees and off by 1 mpg. I can handle the mpg but would like temp to be more accurate.

the outside temp sensor on my new 1500 doesn't even work. it reads 54°C [or 130°f]. i tracked down the sensor [from front - right bottom corner of grill little black 2 wire sensor] and i was hoping for a loose connection, but it was tight. took my multimeter to measure the resistance [looks like a thermister sensor] and it read infinate. bum sensor now i have to deal with the dealer for warrenty oh what fun that could turn out to be
