I run a grill guard on my truck in the summer, and a almost solid front in the winter. My outside air temp is always WAY off to say the least. It is off by 15+ degrees in the summer and more in the winter. Does anyone know where the sensor is located and if it can be relocated to a more appropriate spot? Has anyone tried this by chance and gotten reasonably accurate readings?

Thanks in advance

It is right behind the grille Alex..... you are correct about the screen/winter fronts screwing it up. Moving it lower into a constant airflow stream is on my list of things to do-but not at the top :) .

You could probably re-locate it to one of the lower bumper holes. The wiring is probably long enough since it goes the whole length of the hood.
