I was out in RI yesterday and stopped in at our closest Business Link dealer just to take a look at what was there. Bad move they had the exact truck I wanted to ordder before I bought the house. Went into introduce myself to the new Commercial Sales Manager as I had only talked to him on the phone and he offered to let me take it out.

Started out manuevering it around the crammed lot, to which I was surprised how easy it was, one of my biggest concerns with work trucks. Out on the road it rode rough, to be expected with no body, but not as bad as I had expected it to be. I think any body would signifigantly reduce the harshness and help the rear wheel traction problems.

I love the Aisien, the only way I knew I had the next gear was the change in engine tone, very fluid. On the road the exhaust brake is phenominal. It's going to do miracles for the front brake pads. On a 12 mile loop the only times I used the brakes were under 20mph, anything above that the exhaust brake was more than sufficient. Only thing I didn't like was in reverse backing down a row of cars I had someone walk out behind so I let off the throttle and the exhaust brake just about gave me whiplash.

Another interesting bit was the milage and Rpms of this truck at 70mph it was turning 2300 and the average fuel economy over the first 208 miles was13. 9mpg on info center (this truck is being used to demo for everyone).

Overall it was a mistake to take the truck out as now I want one even more, just have to wait awhile and with anyluck I can avoid some of these computer reflashes some of you guys keep going through.
