Test for steering problems

I'm sure I read some where about checking the steering components with the truck parked,engine off. Have some one watch under the front end as you apply pressure both directions to the steering wheel.

Do not remember if it was in the magazine or here in a forum.

That sounds like the drill but it's a lot easier on the guy in the truck if the engine is running. bg
