I saw the flatbed behind it. Looked like snow on the sides of the creek/ditch. I figure he lost it one way or another. How he got it over the side of the bridge is a mystery to me.

I wouldnt need any fiber for a while, either.

Scary wreck!!! I didn't realize our frames were made of rubber.

I guess the main point of this thread would sorta point up the difference between a stiff and brittle frame, as opposed to a more flexible one less likely to snap when extremely stressed???

Not many of us likely to drive over a bridge or cliff to test one, but frequent heavy loads do have their effect...

I'd really like to know what happened to get to this point. The roads don't look too bad. Did the trailer push him around? Did a deer run across and he jackknifed? Bored minds want to know! ;)

Wow, that is unreal!!! Could you imagine sitting in that truck for who knows how long waiting for help with a very clear view of the creek straight below you? Talk about a white knuckle ride! Did you guys notice the left front tire and rim laying down by the creek?

Man, he is lucky! God was watching out for him that day forsure!

He is very lucky that he was driving a diesel rig! With the amount of fuel on the gaurd rail were he looks to have slid from quite a distance that WOULD have been a nasty accident if it was gas. From the friction of the frame and most likely sparks, it would have ignited the gasoline and he would have been cooked over looking the valley.
