Not in any way that will really tell you anything of significance as to it's condition - takes pretty expensive test equipment and well trained techs to put a real test on them...
 
You can mail it off to Scheid Diesel in Terre Haute IN. They now have the equipment and people who are certified to test run them. They can also upgrade some components w/o a total rebuild. However it could cost around $150 to $300 for this service as its not as easy as spinning it and checking the output. It has to run through a calibration mode of sorts and it takes something like 1. 5 hours to complete the test. Thats what I was told last time I was in there.



They can also totally rebuild the pump. The cost is the same as buying a rebuilt unit.
 
The problem was the comp box, talked to Nathan at EDGE on Wendesday about what truck was doing and he figured the box was bad they overnited box. Plugged new box in today the truck runs stronge now. Thanks again Steve
