Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) testing tps lowest voltage 3.7

trying to figure out why overdrive does not work testing tps with key on and the lowest we get is 3. 7 volts



any input is appreciated

The TPS voltage should be close to 1 volt at idle. Check out TPS mythbuster it has a bunch of good info about the TPS. I have an in dash TPS. It allows great control over shifting and is alot less expensive than replacing the TPS.
