Texas Bumpers

I was down at College Station last week and noticed many vehicles with aftermarket bumpers, front and rear. Could some of you Texas folks provide any info on these?

I'm not even from down there but I'd bet money on the ones you seen being from Brown's Welding,,One of our Mason Dixon TDR members(Wiredawg) is from Texas and he has their brush guard and rear bumper on his truck,,Brishguard is a really stout piece and I'd not want to hit the rear bumper as strong as it is,,He told me they have no website but I have their number. . (800)625-8712,,Hope this helps...

THERE ARE THREE MANF. OF FRT AND REAR BUMPERS HERE IN TX. THAT I KNOW OF.

CHECK THESE SITES- TOUGHCOUNTRY. COM LONESTARTRUCKEQUIPMENT. COM THE OTHER IS ROUGHSTOCK BRAND OUT OF UVALDE, DON'T KNOW THEIR SITE ADD. BUT ALL ALL ARE VERY GOOD, ONLY DIFFERENCE IS LOOKS

I got a Brown's Welding 8" rear bumper with skirt. They have been making bumpers since 1973. I believe RanchHand does a better job of marketing the bumpers and have a catchy name.

When I compared the prices between them:

RanchHand 8" drop (without receiver) with skirt $349. 00

Brown's 8" drop (without receiver) with skirt $265. 00

I could not see the additional cost. I purchased it at Magnum

trailer in Austin, and the guy there said they sell Brown's bumpers like 5 to 1 over RH brand.

Give Brown's a call or visit them in New Braunfauls, TX. Good quality and nice folks.

Disclaimer: Not associated with Brown's welding.

Brown's all around. No website to direct you to. Sorry. Hell the company doesn't even have a computer in their office. Still in the dark ages. 1-800-625-8712

The bumpers are stout but the paint leaves much to be desired. My front bumper is already chipped up and starting to show some surface rust. Guess it's time to pull em off and Line-X them.
