OK gang, looks like January the 4th is a go so far. Who will be going?



Navasota Raceway, on Saturday, Jan. 4th they are having a test and tune night and welcomes the diesels. He is also interested in talking about DHRA (Diesel Hot Rod Assoc. ) inaugural event in April.



If you want your ideas involved in the DHRA, want to race or just enjoying watching the diesels, be there on the 4th.

I plan to be there, and take home the crank-cup of the FIRST race, no supporters to take out some of those peskey Fords?

I have a few special parts on order that I am waiting for.

oh and I have to fix the clutch cuz I think it might slip when we get her going again

but I hope to be at teh next dyno.

That's cool Dan, just wish some of these other guys/gals wouldcome. Some Fords from Austin and Waco are comming, and I don't see how none of our guys are willing to come.

What time on Saturday is the event? I live just down the road(Hwy 105) in Montgomery and I am seriously thinking about going.

I, too, would like to see the Dodge's kick some butt!!

On the 4th, the racing should start at night. It is a test-n-tune night at the track, but they are going to let us run an event at the same time if I understand it correctley.

Just to clarify things.

Jan. 4th at Navasota is just a group of diesels getting together for a good time. We need to talk about the upcoming DHRA event in April at Navasota. This will be a good opportunity for everyone, including vendors to voice their opinions about a diesel drag race series.



I'm not sure, but I think the gate open around 5 PM. I plan on getting there around 6 PM or so.

UPDATE - UPDATE - UPDATE



This event has been rescheduled for Sunday, Jan. 5th. do to the track being closed on Saturdays for January. I found the following on www.hotrodchat.com .



From now till at least the remainder of January and possible February we will be OPEN ON SUNDAY AND CLOSED ON SATURDAY NIGHT. Gates will open at 1:00. tech cards are free with admission. Admission will be $10. 00. So come on out an RUN IN THE SUN @ NAVASOTA RACEWAY.
