While I'm sure that this photo was done in jest, the connotation of 'drunks' with guns does not promote a good image to those who are anti- gun. It just makes thier ill founded fears more justified. I must re- iterate that this is probably more for humorous reasons, but if these 'upstanding' folks wanted to be serious and legitimate, then they would have painted thier sign as: "Armed citizens with guns... "

Yes, the photo was taken in jest. In Texas, we have an affinity for gallows humor - we can find humor in the toughest situations. That's what the photo was intended to illustrate. Sorry if it is misinterpreted by those who don't understand Texas and Texans.
