Texas Rally Schedule

Just got a post card in the mail from lstdr (didnt even know about this). I have a hunt booked I will have to work Friday, Saturday, and till noon on Sunday. If the dyno is still up and running - count me in! I 'll be 30 miles west of Kerville.

Do we have an idea yet how many will attend? If need be, I'll make the dyno available Saturday and Sunday, but I'd like to get that figured out ahead of time so that I can finalize other upcoming commitments. We can run the dyno from dusk till dawn for all I care, I just want to make sure everyone who wants to participate will have that opportunity.

Everybody still planning on going?

Turns out i have to work Saturday and can't get the day off. Sunday would be great for me.

I will be there. Always look forward to it. Good times, great folks, pretty setting, great trucks, it's all good.

I'll be there friday night. I've got my reservations at the Y O Ranch just down from the Rv park. So if anybody is into wanting to hook up and get dinner or just to shoot the breeze. I'll bring a guest with me. Thanks Mike for the post card about the ralley. Call my cell@214-288-4600. This should be a good get together like last year. Haven't decided on the dyno just yet but i may do it just for the heck of it. Will the dyno operator let us run our own truck on the dyno?

Yes he will. That's what makes this fun!!!! :)

You'll see why when you meet me, but I like to have the drivers of these little rice cars with roll cages run their own car while I operate the dyno. I have enough fun getting in and out of a normal sized car, race cars with race cages are best left to the vehicle owners to negotiate. . .

See you there!

Are you still going to dyno on Sunday also I got my weekends screwed up and won't be in Uvalde that weekend afterall but am going to try to come up on Sat. night or Sunday for sure.

I'm going to play it by ear. If there's a good turnout on Saturday, and there are more people who want to test Sunday, I'll be sure and do it. It does depend on the weather too, so cross your fingers and/or pray that Mother Nature cooperates a bit with us. Wet tires don't make good traction, and dynos aren't built for all weather use.
