Texas Rally 2004 DYNO headcount thread

Hey Guys and Gals,

If you plan on being there, please post it here so we can get somewhat of an accurate headcount. Sure would be appreciated.

Yourself and number of guests with you would be even better. ;)

... ... 1..... :D

JC,

If I remember correctly there isn't a gate but they have someone on site all the time. We got in last year around midnite and got interrogated upon arrival. Give us a call on the way down if you head out Friday and we'll leave the light on for you.

EDIT: Can't make it

CenterPoint BBQ cookoff is that weekend and we have a team entered.

Thanks anyway MDW and Curtis.

Yes, Viv and I as well as Larry and Denise Willard are coming. Larry/Denise are coming from Maryland. Looking forward to a good time. Lets hope no rain this year.

See y'all.

Wiredawg Do we have an itinerary yet?

Not yet, I'm still working on whose going to be there as too what we are going to do and when.

Such as seminars, dynoing, etc... .

I'm open to ideas though...

I'm happy to help

MDW:

May I suggest having the dyno early as possible on Sat (0900 or earlier?) and plan a wrapping up around 1200? Then we all could have lunch and start seminars at 1330?

I'm in Maryland right now, will be back in Del Rio on Wed and can maybe help some more then.

Thanks, Wiredawg

Not a bad suggestion, but what about the guys that want to buy stuff to put on thier trucks then dyno?

I like the way you think though.

How about reversing the order?

MDW:

How about having the seminars in the morning and dyno in the afternoon? That would allow dynoing from say 1300 to dark?

We could have educational seminars and drawings on Sunday morning?

BS at night, Dyno in the day?

Just from a Safety standpoint, I think it would be better to start dyno'ing at 8:30ish, and run the dyno untill 5pm. Go to dinner, and get the seminars started at 6:00-7:00, and let them run into the dark. We can BS inside all night, without worrying about any accidents on the dyno when it starts getting dark.

Maybe we could have seminars while the dyno is running?

Seminars shouldn't last too long. We could get 4-5 more trucks on the dyno while the seminars are going...
