Well it doesn't look like I am bringing the project truck unless I do a bunch of work tomarrow. I got it running fairly good and the brakes working.

So my driveway is between 1/8 and 1/4 mile long and so i decide to test drive it and see if I have the fuel delivery problem fixed. I made several passes, each one a little harder than the last. At about the 200' mark, Holset singing happily, there was this lurch as the driveshaft hit the gravel followed by the memory that I had only tacked the spring perches on the axle. The pumpkin was pointing straight down and the pinion was snapped off clean.

D'oh!

We made it :)

But our cell phones are dead so if anyone needs us call the park.

Man that is one BADD motor, my truck pulled my 5th wheel up these hills at 40+ lbs of boost at 1200 degrees max. I was going 72mph and it never lost a single mph.

What a truck :)

A bunch of us Big D Dodge Diesel folks arrived at Buckhorn today. Southbound called us on our cell phone(ours works fine here) and said they were on the way. :)

They put us down on the end parked among a bunch of big diesel pusher motorhomes. The little dog's runnin' with the big dogs! :D

I sitting in the camper surfing the internet on my laptop using Buckhorn's Wi-Fi.

Hey Bill, we got in awhile ago.

We are in #6074 in the front section.

We need to get you moved up front.

Thanks, but, we'll stay here across the street from Rowdy... somebody has to keep a check on him. :D

Bill

I should be leaving down here in a caouple hourse to show up there this afternoon, around 5pm.

All I have to do is load up some product, put on a line-lok, and roll out that way... Oh yah,, and give the truck a bath... ;)

Yall might hear me roll in. I've only got a downpipe thats "shooting" towards my stack piping,, so it's kinda loud :D

Gotta love having wireless access at the park. Being able to leave home and still keep up with things back at TDR. But my old deer lease cabin trailer sure feels outta place amongst all these nice rigs. ;)

Sitting here listening to Piers during his Q&A session. Lots of serious information today.

Y'all we really filled this place up, and we haven't even started the dyno session yet.

Should be interesting to say the least.

Curtis, be sure and tell everyone I said hey and sorry I could be there... ... especially Piers and Loiuse, I'm just sitting here in sunny California on alert... yuk!

Sure would be much better being there with you'll.

Jim

Gitch...

The truck is washed, the oil is changed, and the Ribeyes are in the fridge :) I bought a Ribeye for you, Michael, and Piers. With all the work you have done, the least I can do is cook ya a steak :) (they are about 1 pound each)

See ya Sunday Morn.

John
